Reconstructed Clothing Challenge

I'll be the first to admit, I have zilch for sewing skills. Nonetheless, I am obsessed with the idea of reconstructed clothing.

The idea is, you take an item of clothing (something that doesn't fit right, has a stain, is just plain ugly, or whatever) and rework it into a fabulous new garment. I spend a lot of time at Goodwill and Salvation Army, so I certainly have access to plenty of fodder.

So here is the challenge: I am going thrift shopping to find something hideous to rework into something cool, despite my lack of sewing abilities, just to prove that anyone can do it. I challenge you readers to do the same. Start thinking about this one... I am thinking about making this into a contest!
